Hey there everyone! Does anyone else love to bake and have found that they are baking like way more than usual right now?? I LOVE to bake. I especially like making cookies and cupcakes. I also like muffins but cupcakes can be decorated all cute so I really like that part!
I came across this book tag on The Reading Fairy and loved it and figured I would give it a go! I also feel super inspired to create my own book tag so I will be working on that for the next little bit! I will keep you all updated 😊

Josh and Hazels Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren

I thought this book was SO funny and the beginning had me laughing and cringing and feeling so many things so quickly! I was hooked at the beginning of the book and all the way through! Hazel is such a lovable character and her insane personality shines right from the start!

For some reason whenever I think of a holiday book I always go to Christmas… but to be honest I don’t have any Christmas book rec’s that I have actually read myself. So instead I’m doing to do a Halloween book!
The Lantern’s Ember by Colleen Houck!

This would be the perfect Halloween read. It is a little spooky, deals with magic, has a crazy unbelievable world, AND the main character is a witch. So yeah, defs a good Halloween read!

Terraformer by Colleen Houck
2 Colleen Houck books back to back??? What!!

Astra is the main character in this story and I just loved her. I felt so nervous for her throughout the story because she was in SUCH a compromising situation and also her health was not good so I worried about her in that sense too! The ending is fabulous and I felt so much better about her and her situation!

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

This book LOOKS super summery and just a must read for summer time! Not only is it a lighter, cuter read – it also takes place in Hawaii which to me, seems like the land of summer time!

I mean other than the obvious answer of a children’s book or something… I would say the Twilight series as a whole. I read this series when I was much younger and it feels honestly like a life time ago! It really takes me back when I think about those books.

Sooooooo, I’ve only actually read 1 classic (Pride and Prejudice) and I didn’t really like it, However, I am currently reading Treasure Island and that is shaping out to be pretty good. So, Ill go with that, Treasure Island

I will say this book/ series EVERY TIME! The Charlotte Holmes series is fantastic! Everyone should read it. I loved all the books, it is just so under rated! I don’t see it pop up too much but when I do I GET SO EXCITED! I love sharing this one with the world! Go read it.

The Little Bookshop of Love Stories by Jaimie Admans

This is such a cute book! Its a total chick-lit style book that focuses on the main character who wins a bookshop and basically follows her new life and a new love interest! Such a fun, fluffy read!

The House on the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune

This book was so interesting!! I loved it and the message it has is powerful. Its mostly about advocating for people and sticking up for what is right. Also a little bit of not judging people before knowing them and protecting children! Its a great read with some social work themes! (Also, there’s magic in this book!!)

The Institute by Stephen King

I say this book because first off, it was my first King read.. and second, the book is quite big and I was worried it would take me forever to read!
It was fantastic and I was intimidated for no reason! It was not scary like I thought it would be and I flew through it because it was a great story!

The Girl of Hawthorn and Glass by Adan Jerreat-Poole

I will start off by saying I did not really enjoy this book because it was so slow BUT it had very diverse characters which was awesome!
There was at least 2 trans characters, a gay character, and a non-binary relationship!

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

Obviously this is a big book with lots of hype right now! Hunger Games was such a well known, amazing book series so it is not surprising that the newest installment is very popular!!
Thats it everyone!

Yay I’m so glad you did this tag ❤ I agree that Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes has a ton of hype but I’m super excited to read it! I think I read the abridged version of Treasure Island when I was super young haha glad you’re enjoying! Loved reading this post ❤
